The “High School Musical” star appreciates the strength of the girls at the pregnancy shelter. She stayed at a shelter learning for two weeks while observing how these girls lived before they started filming. Although staying in this environment seem a shock to her, the actress was grateful she had the time to stay there because it really allowed their stories to become reality rather than just a story. Meanwhile, Vanessa learns that these pregnant teenagers have the same needs but they have a much harder life and are easily judged by others.
