A gig of Sir Paul McCartney on the same street overshadowed the first interview of Paris Hilton since her release from jail.

Paris Hilton served 23 days of a 45-day sentence after being found guilty of violating her probation from a drink-driving arrest last year.

The “Stars Are Blind” singer was interviewed on Cnn’s Larry King Live last Wednesday. But unlike the majority of interviews, her one-on-one with King was pre-recorded because of a nearby concert featuring McCartney.

The former Beatle performed a special in-store gig on Wednesday at Sunset Boulevard record store Amoeba Music - the same street as the Cnn building. And the large crowds eager to see the music legend meant Hilton’s interview was filmed earlier, reports Access Hollywood.

Prince William has pleaded Kate Middleton to take him back. The 25-year-old prince is claimed to have had a secret liaison with the fashion buyer at Clarence House in which he poured out his heart and told her he regretted ending their relationship in March.

A source close to couple revealed, “Wills is very keen, but Kate is unsure. She has been seriously hurt. He must persist and convince her he is serious.

A source added, “William invited Kate to Clarence House to smooth things over. They had a first awkward drink but then talked about their split. He made it obvious that he hasn’t got over her. Kate is in the driving seat. William is trying very hard to win her over.”

Prince William reportedly told Kate they should go their separate ways because they were too young to settle down and wanted different things. But sources revealed that the prince is regretting his decision.

The source continued, “William said the relationship was too intense. He wanted to live a little. Now he feels he has made a terrible mistake. He has hardly been out and has been feeling increasing depressed without Kate.”

Jennifer Aniston’s new man has reportedly hit out at Brad Pitt, telling him to stop interfering in their relationship.

Paul Sculfor was said to be furious when he discovered the former husband of Jennifer Aniston had apparently called her and warned her to stay away.

Now Paul reportedly wants Brad to leave Jennifer alone, insisting he has no right to tell her what to do.

According to a report, Paul told a friend: “It’s a total disgrace that he, of all people, should stick his nose in. Brad wasted no time getting together with Angelina Jolie after he split with Jen, now he has the nerve to tell her who she can see.”

Another friend added: “Jen let it slip to Paul that Brad had been warning her about him. He appreciates Brad is a big Hollywood hitter, but reckons he should butt out.”

The 38-year-old actress thinks Brad is over-reacting and he could even be jealous.
A source said, “Brad calls Jen from time to me, just to ask how she’s doing and if she needs anything, though apparently it really gets Angelina’s back up. Jen hinted that Brad had been ‘checking up’ on her new guy and pulled no punches in his assessment. At one point, Jen even thought Brad might be jealous!”

A source revealed, “They are trying to immerse all of them in each one’s individual culture. Brad and Angie bought several paintings from a famous Ethiopian artist to hang in Zahara’s room. Maddox’s room has several Khmer sculptures that represent Cambodia, and Pax has contemporary photographs of Vietnam in his room.”

A source added, “Brad hung up a series of photographs he took near where his family lives in Missouri. They don’t want her to feel like she’s a minority, either.”

Angelina Jolie has scaled back her workload in the film industry to dedicate herself to the four children.

A paparazzo accused of attempting to eavesdrop on Nicole Kidman at her home in Sydney, Australia, has had all charges against him dropped.

Jamie Fawcett, a 41-year-old photographer, was charged in January 2005 with possession and use of a listening device after he was found allegedly planting the bug outside the Moulin Rouge! star’s mansion. He was accused by local authorities of attempting to listen in on conversations between Kidman’s security guards, but Fawcett claimed he was being “unfairly targetted” because of his profession and appealed to the New South Wales state Supreme Court.

Fawcett, who spoke outside the courthouse, said, “It was a very narrow investigation that once again targeted the photographers at a scene and I felt that was perhaps unfair. I am often asked about the feud between Miss Kidman and myself. In fact, I don’t have any opinion whatsoever about Miss Kidman, other than to wish her all the best.”

Wendy Day, the spokesperson of the actress, said, “It has nothing to do with Nicole. That was something to do between the DPP and Jamie Fawcett.”

Mike Myers, a Canadian comedian, was left battered and bruised after playing fighting with his “Shrek” co-star Cameron Diaz.

The actor insists his enjoyment of mock fighting quickly faded when Cameron Diaz injured him.

He revealed, “She’s a karate expert. We have these pretend scraps but sometimes she connects. I have cuts to prove it. The first time we were doing it we were messing about and she clocked me, knocked me to the ground.”

He added, “I went back and did a little cuff on the back of the head and she was incensed so punched me in the stomach and I went down again… she was standing over me yelling, ‘Stay down bitch., She beat the crap out of me… big burly men had to pull her off me.”

Lindsay Lohan has been tipped to play Paris Hilton in a movie of her life. Britney Spears could also join the “Mean Girls” actress on the project.

A source revealed, “There have already been negotiations with a major film company to make the Paris Hilton biopic with Lindsay Lohan playing Paris - with Britney Spears singing the soundtrack.” The three stars have previously been seen partying together.

Lindsay and Britney both entered rehab this year, while Paris was released from prison on Tuesday after serving 23 days for driving with a suspended license.

A source added, “Paris was on cloud nine. Rather than talking remorsefully about her time inside, she seemed energized by her plans to capitalize on her experience.”

Usher announced on Wednesday that he and fiancé Tameka Foster are expecting their first child together.

The couple said in a statement, “We are extremely excited at this point in our lives planning our wedding and the joy that comes with expecting our first child together. We hope people will be happy for us and respect our privacy during this happy period in our lives.”

The baby is expected in the fall, according to a representative for Usher. This would be the first child for the R&B crooner and actor, and the fourth for the recently divorced Tameka Foster.

This is shaping up to be a busy year for Usher. Aside from his marriage and a baby, he is expected to release the follow-up to his eight-million selling, Grammy-winning album “Confessions,” released in 2005. He also has a fragrance due out in September.

Britney Spears allegedly wants to save her marriage to Kevin Federline.

The singer told Kevin she wants to stopt divorce proceedings.

A source “close to the couple” revealed, “Britney called Kevin and told him ‘I’m not divorcing you! I want my family back!’”

As for Kevin’s reaction, a source said, “He was stunned. The call was about custody rights, and though Kevin suspected Britney has been stalling the divorce because of second thoughts, he was shocked when she told him she wanted him back. The conversation grew heated and Kevin said he wasn’t interested in a reconciliation. Britney got upset and threatened to drag out the divorce for months until he saw things her way and came back to her.”

The 25-year-old singer has reportedly been telling friends filing for divorce was a mistake and she wants to rebuild her marriage. Kevin counter-filed for divorce in response to Britney’s petition.
