Cameron Diaz, the star of movie “The Holiday”, ran screaming from paparazzi after they caught her off guard while shopping.

The actress was enjoying some retail therapy in New York fashion and lifestyle emporium Lounge when a group of photographers went in the rear entrance and surrounded her.

A source revealed, “She was enjoying a peaceful day of shopping for some new summer dresses, jewelry and shoes when they surrounded her.” A source added, “Cameron totally freaked out, screamed and dropped the items she was going to buy and was chased through the store. She was running full speed.”

Cameron Diaz has always had a troubled relationship with the paparazzi. She and her former boyfriend Justin Timberlake reached an out of court settlement with a photographer after he claimed they had harassed him. Cameron allegedly beat and threatened him and took his camera when he tried to take photographs of them.

The actress was blackmailed by a professional photographer who took topless pictures of her when she was just 19 and threatened to make them public if she did not pay him over $3 million. The photographer was convicted by a Los Angeles court of attempting to blackmail Cameron and sentenced to over three years in jail.

Hugh Grant, the star of “Music and Lyrics”, has accepted undisclosed libel damages over newspaper claims about the end of his relationship with Jemima Khan.

Associated Newspapers claimed the romance was destroyed by Hugh Grant’s flirtation with a film executive and his conduct over Liz Hurley’s wedding.

The actor revealed he took action because he was tired of “almost entirely fictional articles about my private life”.

Hugh Grant will donate the damages to the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity.

A legal petition filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court states Angelina Jolie wants to change the 3-year-old boy’s name so that it will include “the last name of Brad Pitt”, and be the same as that of the couple’s other children.

Angelina Jolie has traveled to Vietnam to adopt Pax from a Ho Chi Minh City orphanage. The 31-year-old actress filed adoption papers as a single parent since she and Pitt are not married.

Ian Whittaker, a 43-year-old photographer revealed, “It looked like he had been out for a morning jog. I asked him if he would give me a smile because he was standing with his head down. But he must have been having a bad day because he started chasing me down the street.” The photographer added, “He gave me a couple of kicks in the legs and I think he kneed me.”

The photographer also revealed that Hugh Grant picked up a takeaway container full of beans and threw it at him.

Ian Whittaker added, “When I told him I had two children, he snarled, ‘I hope they die of f***ing cancer’. That really upset me and is why I went to the police to make a complaint of assault against him. He was out of order.”

The Metropolitan police confirmed that the incident had been reported. They were planning to question Hugh Grant on the matter.
